Hello! I'm Ellen, currently an MS Data Science student at the University of New Haven.
I previously worked a Research Technician at the Yale Rutledge Lab, where I mainly collaborated on a large-scale smartphone and neuroimaging study, aiming to understand the neural and computational underpinnings of depression. I assisted in all aspects of this project, ranging from designing new arms of the experiment, refining existing study protocols, recruiting and screening participants, assisting with fMRI data acquisition, cleaning and analyzing smartphone data, and managing participants’ long-term adherence and payments. I have additional experience working with children and vulnerable populations to support their wellbeing and development.
I have published several research articles and have participated in international research conferences. Please feel free to check out some of my projects, and get in touch if you’re curious and would like to chat!
